CW MINISTRIES
In addition to our Sunday morning weekly “encounters” (formerly known as church services), our Mondays through Saturdays are full of many other many other Godtivities… Serving, loving, and making disciples for Jesus.
Men and Women Discipleship Groups
We offer several different options weekly for small groups to meet. We have an amazing group of pastors and teachers that can host groups who are just beginning their faith journey, to those eager to go much deeper into the truths of the scriptures. There are also several classes that gather on campus for a bible study prior to the general worship gathering on Sunday.
Senior Adult Ministries
We offer a regular Wednesday morning Bible Study at 10:30 am. This is a full hour of worship, praise, prayer, and interactive bible discussions. In addition, we schedule regular fellowship gatherings with intentional invites for family, friends, and neighbors.
Youth Ministries
We offer regular weekly activities for our Middle and High Schools Students. Sunday mornings start with a discipleship bible study class, and then we intentionally involve our youth in our morning worship “encounter”. Our hope is to involve our youth early in all aspects of church to develop their gifts and make them feel valued. In addition to Sundays, we gather on Wednesday evenings for a fun time of food, worship, inspirational teaching, and activities. Spring, Summer, and Fall camp activities, are also a big part of our programming and growth as well.
Children’s Ministries
We offer child care from nursery through 5th grade on both Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Our children’s staff and volunteers are trained and background checked prior to serving on the team. In addition, our facilities are monitored and protected by trained security personnel. We work hard so that, not only are our children in a safe and healthy environment, but they are also loved by adults passionate to see them grow in healthy spiritual ways as well.
Missions & Outreach Ministries
Christ Wesleyan Church is a family that understands and embraces fully the purpose of the church… to make disciples… to grow in Christ, and go in Christ.
We are involved in supporting several foreign missionary groups in Guatemala, Haiti, and Kenya. But more than just sending funds, we have been active in sending short term service teams to each.
In addition to the international efforts, we also are very mission-focused right here in the triad community. Our goal is to pick one focus group, organization, or family per month that we can bless and support outside our own walls. Again, not just with a check for funds, but hand and feet to help do the work. Not only is it scriptural that, “when you refresh other, you too will be refreshed”, but we love the comradery and fellowship of serving alongside of one another.
In-House Ministries
We offer so many opportunities for people to be a part of the family. Those that worship with us are encouraged to learn and find a ministry in the church matches up well with their passions and gifts. It is so much more exciting to be on and with the team, than watching from a distance in the bleachers. We will never run out of opportunities to be part of the team at CW… worship (singing, instrumentalist), media, sound, greeting, ushering, grounds and facilities maintenance, outreach, missions, teaching, child care, youth worker, coffee shop, welcome center, meal preparation, visitation/care team, administrative team.
